Common Issues with Acura Vehicles

Even though Acura cars and SUVs are very well made, just like anything, they can have issues. Some are big, some are not, but this is a list of the biggest and most common problems with all the Acura vehicles. Most Common Problems with Acuras:

1. Transmission Failure – This problem was not a common one across all the Acura vehicles, it was mainly specific to the 2004 – 2008 Acura TL’s. So many people had failed transmission with this vehicle that Acura actually changed their warranty on this car to 7 years. If you’ve got an older used Acura TL and you’re having issues shifting or noticing slipping, it’s probably because of this common issue.
2. Engine Oil Leaks – Having an oil leak is a pretty common issue amongst older vehicles in general, but with the Acura RSX, this was a result of bad oil pressure sensors that affected every year of this model.
